Engineering

Integration & Infrastructure Engineer

Freelance / Contract 2–3 days per week Remote (UK timezone)

We build solutions for manufacturers and regulated industries and need someone who can support deployment in production systems. This role sits between our technical delivery and our clients' ecosystem. You will take applications in development and make them deployable, secure, and cost-efficient.

Our clients operate in regulated industries where data handling matters. The work is varied: one week you might be containerising an agentic pipeline, the next you are setting up a secure integration with a client's ERP system.

What you will do

  • Containerise and deploy Python applications to cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for client deliverables
  • Design secure, cost-effective data pipelines connecting to client ERP systems, APIs, and databases
  • Manage cloud infrastructure with a strong bias toward keeping costs low
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for production systems
  • Advise on security best practices for handling sensitive data in regulated industries
  • Document infrastructure and deployment processes for client handover

What we are looking for

  • Strong experience with Docker, container orchestration, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
  • Comfortable building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
  • Experience building data pipelines and system integrations (REST APIs, database connectors, ERP integrations)
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure security, particularly around sensitive client data
  • Cost-conscious approach to cloud architecture
  • Python proficiency
  • Clear communicator who works independently and flags blockers early

Nice to have

  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or other regulated industries
  • Familiarity with LLM deployment and API cost management
  • Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK)
  • Experience integrating with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics)
Business Development

Sales Development Representative

Freelance / Contract 10–15 hours per week Remote (UK-based preferred)

We are looking for someone to build and manage the top of our sales pipeline. Our business development lead handles discovery calls, proposals, and client relationships. What we need is someone who can systematically find the right companies, identify the right people, and start the right conversations.

You will research prospects, build targeted lists, send personalised outreach, manage follow-up sequences, and book qualified calls. We have established messaging, templates, and a CRM ready to go.

What you will do

  • Research and build prospect lists of UK manufacturers and operations-led businesses
  • Identify key decision-makers: Heads of Operations, IT Directors, Plant Managers, Supply Chain Directors, CFOs
  • Write and send personalised cold outreach via email and LinkedIn (using our established voice and messaging)
  • Manage follow-up sequences and track all activity in HubSpot
  • Book qualified discovery calls directly into our calendar
  • Research specific target companies using Companies House, LinkedIn, trade associations, and job boards as signals

What we are looking for

  • Experience in B2B lead generation, ideally selling to manufacturing, industrial, or technical audiences
  • Strong research skills: you can find the right person at the right company and write a message that gets a response
  • Excellent written English with attention to tone
  • Comfortable with LinkedIn (Sales Navigator a plus), HubSpot, and standard prospect research tools
  • Self-directed: you can manage a weekly outreach cadence without daily check-ins
  • Transparent about what is working and what is not

What success looks like

  • A consistent pipeline of qualified discovery calls booked each month
  • Well-researched prospect lists with clear rationale for each target
  • CRM kept current with contacts, companies, and outreach activity
